Welcome to Next Adventure Books & Brews — Where Every Book is a New Journey.

I've always loved books and bookstores. As a Latina, disabled woman, stroke and rare cancer survivor, I've faced and conquered many hardships in my life — but even during the hardest times, I could always find peace walking into a bookstore, choosing my next read, and settling into a cozy corner with a cup of coffee or tea in hand. Bookstores have always been my happy place, and my heart's reset button.

Some of my happiest memories with my kids are taking them to the bookstore — watching their eyes light up as they chose a pile of books, played in the kiddie corner, and got completely lost in a great story. Those moments reminded me that books aren't just stories. They're sanctuaries.

After 26 years in the corporate and retail world, I knew it was time to also build a dream of my own — one rooted in passion, community, and the belief that everyone deserves a place to exhale, recharge, and find their next adventure. While we work toward finding our perfect brick-and-mortar home, Next Adventure Books & Brews is growing one pop-up at a time.

Next Adventure Books & Brews is that place. We are a Latina and woman-owned independent pop-up bookstore and digital literary escape based in Metro-Detroit. We specialize in fueling your imagination with hand-picked Fiction, gripping Mystery, and sweeping Romance, alongside carefully curated selections of Spanish Literature, Children's Books, and Young Adult favorites.
