Devil Knows Her Name

A witch made a bargain with the devil to save her life. A hundred years later, he’s still waiting to collect.

A century ago, Tess Wynne was attacked and left on the brink of death. Desperate to survive, she vowed she would do anything to live.

The devil heard her.

Their bargain granted Tess an unnaturally long life, but at a price: she is forever tethered to the land where she nearly died, on the outskirts of the isolated Appalachian town of Burrsville.

Over the years, Tess has transformed the property into a wildlife sanctuary, using her magic to protect both the land and the community around her. But her carefully constructed world begins to unravel when she rescues an orphaned fawn with disturbing and unnatural appetites.

Then a new pastor arrives in town and begins turning the community against Tess, threatening the sanctuary, its animals, and everything she has spent a century protecting.

And through it all, the devil is waiting.

He offers Tess the power to save what she loves—but only if she is finally willing to pay his price.

Dark, atmospheric, and steeped in witchcraft and Appalachian folklore, The Devil Knows Her Name is a haunting story about bargains, power, survival, nature, faith, and what happens when the devil decides it’s finally time to collect.

Perfect for readers who love: witches, dark fantasy, folk horror, Appalachian settings, supernatural thrillers, bargains with the devil, morally complicated heroines, eerie small towns, occult fiction, and atmospheric horror.
